    Description

    We are pleased to offer a Vintage GLENLIVET Scotch Polo Player Bar Display Statue by Carter Jones.
    Signed & dated 9/81 (Picture #4).
    Condition is very good overall, it does have a few paint chips but NO cracks or other damage. The chips could be easily repaired with a bit of gold tone paint. I will leave that to the new owner.
    This large advertising display stands 10-3/4" tall by 11" wide by 7.5" deep, and weighs 5.7lbs. The front is embossed "The GLENLIVET Scotch". On the front side is a round insert covered in black felt to hold a bottle of scotch. The side of the sculpture is inscribed by the artist "Carter Jones - NSS - © 9/81". The back is embossed in tiny type "12 YEAR OLD UNBLENDED SCOTCH WHISKY - 86 PROOF - THE GLENLIVET DISTILLING CO. - N.Y. N.Y." This sculptural display is made of a heavy Chalkware painted in a gold finish. Carter Jones is a master sculptor, a listed artist and member of the National Sculpture Society.
